These Car & Truck Magnets Terms of Use govern the proper application, maintenance, and safety parameters for all custom vehicle-grade magnet products manufactured by UZ Marketing. By purchasing, accepting, or deploying our vehicle magnets, you agree
to comply strictly with these guidelines.
These rules supplement our core Terms of Use and Terms of Sale. If you have any technical questions regarding your signage, please contact our support team at
832-598-7226 or via email at support@uzmarketing.com before installation.
1. Surface Preparation & Paint Curing
Proper surface preparation is mandatory to protect your vehicle's paint and ensure a secure magnetic bond.
Curing Windows: Never apply a magnetic sign to newly painted, clear-coated, or freshly waxed surfaces. The underlying coatings must be completely cured and hardened. Observe these minimum
waiting periods:
New Professional Vehicle Paint: 90 days
New Clear Coat Applications: 60 days
Fresh Wax or Polish Treatments: 7 days
Cleaning Routine: Before installation, clean both the vehicle’s metallic surface and the dark magnetic backing of the sign using a mild automotive detergent. Wipe both surfaces completely
dry with a lint-free soft cloth.
Temperature Restrictions: The magnetic sign should be at room temperature during the initial application. Handle magnets with extreme care in freezing conditions, as cold temperatures cause
flexible magnetic material to become brittle and prone to cracking.
2. Proper Placement & Installation Mechanics
Air pockets, surface curves, or improper placement will cause your magnet to lift and fly off at high speeds.
Ferrous Metals Only: Magnets only adhere to smooth, flat, magnetic steel or iron surfaces. They will not attach to aluminum, fiberglass,
carbon fiber, plastic, or body-filler modifications.
Flush Alignment: Ensure the magnet lies completely flat against the vehicle frame. There must be zero air pockets, wrinkles, or moisture trapped underneath. The edges must be entirely flush
against the metal.
Lift, Do Not Slide: Never slide or drag the magnet across the vehicle panel to adjust its position. Sliding can stretch the vinyl material or scratch your vehicle's clear coat. To reposition,
completely lift the magnet away from the surface from the center sides, do not pull or yank from the delicate pointed corners.
Avoid Contours: Do not overlay the magnet across body moldings, door handles, pinstripes, decals, air intakes, reflectors, or concave panel seams.
3. Prohibited Applications & Environmental Warnings
Magnetic signs require routine maintenance and common-sense deployment to prevent material breakdown.
Damaged Product Ban: Never deploy a car magnet that displays air bubbles, wrinkles, creased edges, or bent corners. Damaged or warped magnets allow high-speed airflow to get underneath the
material, compromising the surface seal during transit and causing the magnet to detach.
Horizontal Exposures: Do not apply magnetic signs to horizontal metal surfaces, such as vehicle hoods or roofs. Constant, direct midday sunlight and intense engine heat will ruin the magnet
and accelerate paint damage.
Automated Car Washes: Always remove your magnetic signage before entering any automated car wash or utilizing high-pressure power washers to prevent chemical degradation or loss of the asset.
No Layering: Never stack or layer multiple magnetic signs on top of one another. They will lose their magnetic properties and detach during transit.
UV Shielding & Fading: Long-term outdoor use will naturally shield the vehicle paint beneath the magnet from ultraviolet rays while the rest of the vehicle fades normally. UZ Marketing
recommends removing the signs weekly to clean the underlying panel and rotate placement slightly to maintain uniform paint exposure.
Extreme Environments: UZ Marketing vehicle magnets are not engineered or rated for underwater deployment or aircraft navigation use.
4. Assumption of Risk & Indemnity
Absolute Product Disclaimer: Failure to strictly adhere to these preparation, placement, and cleaning instructions significantly increases the risk that the car magnet will fail to adhere properly and
detach during operation. The buyer assumes absolute personal liability for the daily maintenance, safe usage, and secure attachment of all vehicle magnets.
By deploying UZ Marketing car magnets, the buyer explicitly agrees that UZ Marketing assumes zero financial or legal liability, and will issue no refunds, replacements, or compensation, for:
Property & Vehicle Damage: Any damage caused to the vehicle's paint, clear coat, bodywork, or structural integrity, including "magnetic bonding" (where neglect causes the magnet to permanently
bake onto the vehicle panel).
Traffic & Third-Party Liability: Any claims, losses, personal injury, or property damage inflicted upon trailing traffic, other motorists, or any other person or property should the
magnet detach during transit.
Loss of the Asset: The physical loss of the magnetic sign itself due to high-speed wind shear, theft, improper installation, or weather events.
