In commercial CMYK printing, blue shades will automatically shift toward purple if the magenta color value is configured too close to the cyan value.
Because digital screens display colors using vibrant RGB light, they can easily show a rich royal blue that physical printing inks cannot match without a specific chemical balance.
The 30% Rule of Thumb: To guarantee your artwork prints as a true, crisp blue rather than a muddy violet, always keep your Cyan percentage at least 30% higher than your Magenta percentage in your color picker.
If your graphic looks perfect on your screen but is leaning toward purple in our file proofing viewer, simply lower the Magenta percentage in your design software before uploading your final file.

(Note: Minor color variations are normal and can still occur based on material textures, lighting, and ambient screen calibration.)
